Solar quotes made simple.

One free call to see if your Houston home is a fit for a solar quote. Answer a few quick questions about the home and your electric bill. If it's a fit, we connect you with a solar provider that serves the Houston area, on the same call. No forms and no sign-ups. Accendo Solar does not install anything and does not sell you anything, and you are free to get other quotes before you decide.

  • 24/7We answer anytime
  • One provider, not five. You are put through to a single provider, not a list of competing companies, so you are not fielding calls from six of them for the next fortnight.
  • Give it a proper few minutes. This is a real conversation about your roof, your bill and what a system would involve, not a quick capture. Worth calling when you can actually talk.
  • Not a fit? Then nothing happens. The call ends there. We do not call back, text, or add you to a list, and we do not sell your details.

Who this is for

Local providers need a few things to be true before a quote means anything. Worth a call if these fit:

  • You own the home, because decisions about the roof have to come from the owner
  • The home is in Houston or the surrounding metro
  • There are no solar panels on it already
  • The electricity bill runs over about $100 in a typical month
  • The roof gets a reasonable amount of sun and is not shaded all day

If one of those does not fit, a local provider will not be able to do much with it, and there is no need to call. Better to read that here than to find out ten minutes into a phone call.

On the call

  1. An AI assistant answers first and asks a few short questions about the home and the electricity bill. A couple of minutes, give or take. Calls may be recorded.
  2. If the home fits what local providers are looking for, you are put through to one of them on the same call.
  3. That provider handles the quote, any site visit, and the work itself. They are independent of Accendo Solar, and nothing is agreed on this call.

If the home is not a fit, the call ends there and nobody follows up. We do not call back, text, or add you to a list.

Questions

Is Accendo Solar a solar installation company?

No. We're a free service that connects Houston homeowners with independent solar providers that serve the Houston area. The provider you speak with is a separate company, and handles the quote, any site visit and the installation.

Am I speaking to a real person?

Your call is answered by an AI assistant, and it tells you so at the start of the call. If your home is a fit, you're transferred to a solar provider that serves the Houston area, who may use human representatives.

Is it free?

Yes. We don't charge you for the call. Any pricing or financing is presented by the provider.

Will you give me a price or savings estimate?

No. Our assistant doesn't quote prices, system sizes or savings. Those depend on your roof, your usage and the equipment, and only a provider who assesses your home can give you real numbers.

Do I still get the 30% federal solar tax credit?

No. The federal Residential Clean Energy Credit for homeowners ended for expenditures made after December 31, 2025. There may be local or utility programs, and the provider can tell you what currently applies to your home.

Will solar eliminate my electric bill?

Not necessarily. Results depend on your home, your usage, utility charges and how your utility credits solar. A provider can walk you through what to expect.

Can I ask about battery backup for outages?

Yes, ask the provider. Whether a battery suits your home, and what it could keep running in an outage, depends on the home and the equipment, and not every provider installs batteries. Our assistant doesn't recommend equipment.

What should I ask the provider?

Questions worth asking any solar company: who services the system after it's installed, and how quickly? Who handles the permits and the utility connection (CenterPoint for most of Houston), and how long until it's turned on? Is every fee written into the contract? Can you show your license and insurance? Accendo Solar doesn't rate or vet providers on these points, so ask them directly, and compare other quotes if you like.

Can I call at night?

Yes, we answer 24/7. Local providers take transfers during their business hours, so outside those hours we'll tell you when to call back.

Do I have to buy anything?

No. Calling doesn't commit you to anything.

Your home. Your decision. One free call to see if it's a fit.
